In Cambodia, Sles often experienced domestic violence when he was a teenager, at the hands of his father. Now 37 years old, Sles promised himself not to use violence to discipline his own children and joins with other parents to learn and share alternative approaches. Sles underwent training through ChildFund’s Positive Parenting project, which teaches a variety of topics to parents, children, and young people to keep children safe in their communities.
